I am from a daughter’s room
reminding her to never stop believing.
I am from a mother’s love
oh so gentle and loving
I am from the imagination
A hidden place that never gets forgotten

I’m from Roar
I show confidence and strength.
I am from the scent of clean laundry
from relief and love
I am from a sweet, sweet taste
something like a cookie
child friendly and soothing

I am from sidewalk chalk
giving children the chance for play
The images dance around like ballet dancers
I am from a time when everyone was distant
but that is not the case anymore.
I come from mothers who are proud to love a child.
I come from the new family dog,
so furry and warm.
