Line over line,
slowly fading to nothing.
The darkness will soon be everlasting,
as dark as a moonless night.
You can’t go back,
what’s done is done.
Reflections,
each not as bright as the original.
You continue
But no matter how hard you try,
the copy is never as good.
And with each one,
you continue to fade,
and soon you will be gone.
But don’t lose hope
or you never can return.
