Translate an everyday object into an architectural or sculptural structure by breaking the

original object into planes and re-organizing a minimum of two selected planes into a model

building or sculpture.

Objectives:

Identify planes of an everyday object.

Manipulate selected planes to create a model structure that organizes space and creates volume

through the inter-relationship of planes.

Rules : You can repeat or duplicate chosen planes and you can magnify or shrink sizes of planes

Without changing their original shapes. You can rotate, re-orient or intersect to change their

relationships to one another. You can discard planes that you do not want to use. The final

piece must be three-dimensional and stand alone.
