Create an imaginary cityscape including a street intersection and buildings in two point perspective. use colored pencils to complete your drawing.



Rubric

Goals:

____/5 Create a drawing utilizing 2 vanishing points with all planes receding into one or the other correctly, accurate technical drawing using perspective

____/5 Objects change in scale and spaces between objects become smaller as they recede.

____/5 All lines are consistently straight and clean – use of ruler is evident.

____/5 Drawing includes all required elements (building, streets, sidewalks, etc).

____/5 Developed skills through practice and is able to articulate concepts and techniques utilizing appropriate terminology– is receptive and responsive to feedback, willing to correct mistakes and puts forth effort to achieve accuracy.

Open a blank powerpoint. 2 Slides only!

Slide 1 is an image of your drawing.

PHOTO TIPS: try to frame your drawing so that you don't see anything but the drawing, avoid shadows on the image- sometimes helps to prop up. If you cant avoid getting other background in the picture, edit it on your computer and crop background out.

Slide 2 is a reflection.

Title: Drawing in Perspective

Write a paragraph describing at least 2 skills/techniques and concepts you learned or improved through making this drawing. Include at least 3 vocabulary terms in the description. This is worth points on the project rubric.
